Michel Blazy

For over twenty years, Michel Blazy, who was born in Monaco in 1966, has been developing a body of work that is atypical in the French artistic landscape, highlighting the transformations of matter and playing with time and the cycles of the living world.

This monograph looks back over his career, from his early works in 1990 to the year 2014.

Abundant illustrations presented in chronological order help us to understand how his work has evolved and show the metamorphosis and processes of the works themselves.

Blazy explores our relationship with time and death, producing works that contain the potential for their own disappearance and which desacralise the notion of the immutability of form.
